First, I would like to welcome everyone to our new and fantastic website!  This couldn’t have been done without the great support and insight of the HOA board, the guidance of Klein Property Management, and the incredible abilities of our Web Designer John Rod.

This summer at Rustic Woods was very exciting.  Our pool was very active because of the beautiful weather and lots of fun was had by all.  We also had our very first free Kids Movie Night at our recently renovated clubhouse. Lego Movie 2 was the feature shown and the kids snacked on freshly popped popcorn and snow-cones made possible by your HOA board and provided by Johnny’s Perfect Parties. 

That same weekend, we had our annual complementary barbecue by the pool and the turnout was better than ever.  The board and I strive to bring the community together and there is no better way to do this than partying by the pool.  Everyone involved has a fantastic time and, again, the event was made possible by your HOA board.

In other news, the HOA board has recently addressed many different quality-of-life issues in our community to great success.  You will notice that there are new benches around our tennis court, basketball court and playground areas.  The streets have been re-striped, concrete repaired, amongst many other issues the HOA board has tackled recently.  

As stated before, our Clubhouse is now the shining star of our community! It has recently been renovated and the results are fantastic. We have had more rentals and more interest in renting than ever before. Lastly, fall is upon us and I wanted to remind our homeowners that now is a great time to clean your dryer vents in order to prevent a fire.  If you have not done so yet this year, please do so for the safety of your family and others around you. 

As always, the HOA board is here to serve you and, as president, it has been a pleasure and an honor to make sure this community is in the best shape it has ever been in both in aesthetics and in its finances.  We have more money in our reserves than we have ever had and that is with the recent repairs and refurbishment to the clubhouse.  In addition, the HOA was able to reduce the fees paid by each community and that is a testament to the hard work of your board and your president.  Thank you all for reading our first of many blogs and, please do not hesitate to contact management for any issues you may have.
